Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies Announces

Dr. Lori Ludwig as Executive Director

Dear Center Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies, I am pleased to announce that Dr. Lori Ludwig has been appointed the Center’s next Executive Director, effective October 1, 2026.

Lori is no stranger to CCBS. She has served as a Trustee since 2012 and knows the Center’s mission, its people, and its history from the inside. Among many areas, Lori has focused on OBM with more than 25 years of experience working with nonprofits, human services, and corporate organizations. Her standing in the field, her experience leading volunteers, and her skill at building working relationships made her an outstanding choice to guide the Center through its next chapter.

The Board is grateful to the members of the search committee, who gave generously of their time and judgment throughout a careful process. We also extend our deep thanks to Rob Holdsambeck for his leadership as Executive Director. What can we say about Rob? He was and is an incredible supporter of CCBS, who stabilized our organization and brought new energy and purpose to it. Rob will work with Lori to ensure a smooth transition.

The Center’s mission is to advance the scientific study of behavior and its humane application to the problems people face. Lori brings the knowledge and commitment to carry that mission forward, and we look forward to what the Center will accomplish under her leadership.

Please join me in welcoming Lori to her new role. She can be reached at ll*****@*************ly.com.

Sincerely,

Thomas Zane
