Gambling and dopamine
Editorial appearing in Behavior Analysis Digest, Vol. 18, No. 1, (Spring 2006). Article discusses previous findings attributing compulsive gambling behavior to dopamine production in the brain while gaming. Study had failed to address reinforcement maintaining behavior or other environmental variables (casino proximity, etc).
